Gothic wedges on a 5-7 cm platform with a rubber sole. The wedge runs the full length of the shoe, so the weight sits evenly and you get height without the balance problems of a thin heel.

Why a wedge

A wedge spreads the load across the whole foot instead of concentrating it on a narrow point. That makes it a better choice than a stiletto for standing through a concert or walking around the city, while keeping the raised silhouette.

Season and styling
