Product Description

A black maxi skirt with a wide, high waistband adorned with an embroidered floral pattern is one of those pieces where the cut does all the work on its own. The flared hem reaches down to the ankles, while lace inserts on the sides create sheer floral panels that reveal the legs with every step. The embroidery on the waistband echoes the lace motif, keeping the whole look cohesive. The skirt works just as well with a corset and lace gloves as it does with a simple black top when a less theatrical effect is desired. The lace inserts end in a raw, frayed edge at the hem, adding an irregular finish to the overall silhouette.
